But sometimes it’s the smaller things that are particularly worth seeing. For example, the kitchen fireplace in the “White Raven” or the old pump at the fish market. The old powder tower in the northeast of the old city wall, on the other hand, stands out because of its size alone. In the Orsoy districts you can visit the Protestant church, which houses one of the oldest pulpits in the Lower Rhine, as well as parts of the former fortifications and the mill tower. Not to forget the promenade and the city gate in Orsoy. In the district of Ossenberg you will find the castle of the same name, a former castle from the 14th century, inside of which there are also traces from the Rococo period. House Wolfskuhlen, a relic of a former knight’s estate from the 16th century can be visited in the Budberg district.
