The Tannenbusch local recreation area is located in the Rhine district of Neuss and offers a geopark, wildlife park and adventure trail.
The Schutzgemeinschaft Deutscher Wald Dormagen e. V. in cooperation with the city of Dormagen have created a recreation area for people from the surrounding cities with numerous plantings and ideas in the area of ​​the fir bush, which at the same time offers many animals a home.


Tannenbusch Natural Oasis

The Tannenbusch has a geological nature trail (Geopark) with rocks that shape the landscape. Visitors can find out more about the information boards. There is also a wildlife park (game enclosure) with native animals within the Tannenbusch recreation area. The adventure trail with its individual stations is also very popular. The Tannenbusch has something for everyone, whether they are walkers, joggers or nature lovers. The Waldgasthaus Tannenbusch with its restaurant and beer garden invites you to stop and linger.

Hiking Paths : The circular route through the Tannenbusch is about 3 km long. From the parking lot, the route leads through the Tannenbusch wildlife park. If you want, you can briefly leave the route and make a detour to see the red deer.
