The Düffel landscape is an area of ​​around 10,000 hectares in the border area between Germany and the Netherlands.

The nature reserve on the German side with the areas Düffel, Kellener Altrhein and Flussmarschen is located in the cultural landscape on the left bank of the Rhine between Kleve and Nijmegen and is characterized by meadows and pastures, which are criss-crossed by numerous drainage ditches.
The almost 4000 hectare protected area is home to numerous birds and in the winter months, thousands of wild geese graze on the meadows of the duffel. The extremely flat landscapes with numerous meadows and hedges as well as pollard willows and rows of poplars are characteristic of the Dueffel. A network of cycling and hiking trails leads through the area. There are also bridle paths.
