The Hardter Forest is a mixed forest in the city of Mönchengladbach and has a size of 450 hectares.

The hiking car park leads to various hiking trails. There is also a playground and a trim yourself path as well as a youth hostel in the Hardter Forest. A very special experience are covered wagon rides through the Hardter Forest, which are offered by the Mönchengladbach Marketing Company.
