The Rhine Museum shows an impressive collection of the cultural and urban history of Emmerich, as well as of Rhine shipping.

The maritime museum houses a collection of over 130 models, as well as radar systems and maps of the Rhine. A few temporary exhibitions round off the museum’s interesting program. The sponsor of the museum is the Emmericher Geschichtsverein e.V., which tries to research and present the history of the city of Emmerich and its districts.
