The Lower Rhine Open-Air Museum in Grefrath is well worth seeing for both adults and children.

Among other things, you can experience historical buildings such as the Dorenburg or an old forge, a historical bakery and half-timbered houses from a bygone era. The toy museum is also interesting. There are also play facilities for children on the premises. A restaurant also takes care of the physical well-being.

The former knight’s seat from 1326 underwent a change in the baroque architectural style around 1630. Today the Dorenburg is the central point of the open light museum in Grefrath.
