In the former Franciscan monastery of the city of Kempen there is now the important museum for Lower Rhine sacred art.
The museum in the historic monastery church shows unique exhibits of sacred works from the 15th to the 19th century.

Exhibition Objects : The exhibits include sacred gold and silversmiths from the 15th to 19th centuries. This also includes works by the artist Franz Xaver Hellner. You will also find unique church textiles. Outstanding objects are the Mary chain from the 1st half of the 15th century and the choir cloak clasp from the early Renaissance.
Exhibitions / Events : Classical concerts take place regularly in the Franciscan Monastery Cultural Center.
