The Museum Katharinenhof in Kranenburg in the region of the Lower Rhine shows various exhibitions at 3 locations.
However, the museum is known far beyond the borders of the region for its art exhibitions in the Katharinenhof. The permanent exhibition in the Katharinenhof includes exhibits of medieval sacred art as well as paintings from the Renaissance and art from the 19th and 20th centuries.
The offer is supplemented by numerous temporary exhibitions. Other locations include both the old mill tower and the town barn.
At the other two locations, the museum shows the following. The permanent exhibition “History in the Tower” can be seen in the mill tower, which presents numerous exhibits on the history of the region. In the town barn building, visitors can see old handicrafts and traditional agricultural implements, but only after prior notification.
