Exhibition Objects : The art collection includes paintings from the Middle Ages, exhibits from Dutch painting as well as art from the 19th and 20th centuries. These include works by the Pre-Raphaelites and the Symbolists. The museum also owns numerous works of art by the Rhenish Expressionists. Finds from Roman times can be seen in the archaeological section of the museum. There are also exhibits on the city’s history, because Neuss is one of the oldest cities on the Rhine.
