In the LVR Archaeological Park, Xanten, impressive evidence of Roman history is displayed.
The rebuilt amphitheater and numerous ancient finds that are exhibited in the Roman Museum attract tourists to Xanten. Founded on the area of the former Roman city Colonia Ulpia Trajan, archaeologists continue to find new finds from Roman times, which can then often be viewed in the Roman Museum.
