The historic center of the former towboat village Krudenburg was restored in the past and is now a listed building. Particularly worth seeing is the village fountain where a frog spits water into the fountain. The two-story tower of the former castle is also worth seeing.
Krudenburg was a knight’s seat and wintering port for ships and overnight accommodation for numerous boatmen and horse farmers who used to have the task of pulling ships from the bank with their horses. Some remains still bear witness to Krudenburg’s past today. However, there is only one tower left of the former castle. Come and experience the listed fishing village and enjoy the peace and quiet.
