The Aquazoo Löbbecke Museum with its numerous exhibition rooms is one of the most popular attractions in the city of Düsseldorf.
The Aquazoo Löbbecke Museum has been located in a building complex in Düsseldorf’s Nordpark since 1987. During a tour through the different themed rooms you can experience an impressive zoo and museum world, which on the one hand shows living animals and on the other hand provides information about the development of different natural areas by means of various display boards and various exhibits.
The Aquazoo has also set itself the task of protecting nature, collecting information, researching and presenting and conveying knowledge to a broader public.

Animals & Attractions: Not far from the entrance you can already see the first highlight of the Aquazoo Löbbecke Museum. Penguins jump in and out of the water in an indoor enclosure. The sharks in the large round tank are also impressive. On the other hand, the numerous aquariums in which fish from different fresh and salt water bodies swim are colorful. In the tropical house of the Aquazoo visitors can admire colorful butterflies and smaller crocodile species. There are also amphibians and reptiles, and an insectarium, to name just the most important. Animals on land include African penguins, newts, vipers, freshwater crocodiles, spiders, and more. Animals in the water include blacktip reef sharks, lobsters, surgeon fish, European pike, mudskippers and more.
