The old water tower on Viersener Strasse in Mönchengladbach was built in 1908 and 1909.
The water tower shines to this day in its distinctive architectural style, which contains Art Nouveau elements. The water tower was built in the years 1908-1909. Its height is about 50 meters and its capacity was 3000 cubic meters. It has been a listed building since 1986 and was renovated in 1987-88 and 1998.
