The Windmill Scholten in Rees was built in 1849. It is a tower windmill, a so-called Dutch mill, the wings of which are still today.
The historic windmill can be visited on special occasions, such as Mill Day. Guided tours are also possible by appointment.

Built : The mill dates from around 1849. The tower is brick and the mill has a wagon entrance. The wings and compass rose were renewed and the wing barrel is intact, so flour can still be ground today. Wing cross: Ventikanten revolving stern – height of the mill to top of the hood: 17 m – cross diameter: approx. 22 m – ground floor diameter: 6.50 m
