On the Tönisberg in the region of the Lower Rhine, which rises between Krefeld and Aldekerk, stands the box-type windmill, which was built in 1802 and is well worth seeing.

The mill is well preserved and also offers a small rest area, which is very popular with cyclists. Halfway up the Tönisberg there is also a St. Mary’s Chapel.
