The historic Hiesfeld windmill is a so-called tower windmill, which today serves as a technical monument that can be visited.
The tower windmill, built in 1822, is located in today’s center of Hiesfeld and has a specially shaped mill tower. The mill had three grinders, but was shut down in 1922. Nevertheless, the mill is a destination for young and old, because here you can see the old mill technology on 4 floors.
