The Dutch Windmill (Holländermühle), built in 1868, was still in operation until 1955. Today the Windmill Dahlen is a landmark of Sevelen in the region of the Lower Rhine and is well worth seeing.

In 2000 the historic mill received a new, copper roof covering, a new wing cross made of metal and a new frame, new windows and a new coat of paint. But there is always a lot to do on such an old structure. The museum association has been looking after the historic building since 1999.
