The 400 year old “Upper Watermill” in Moers on the Lower Rhine is also known as the Aumühle and was built at the beginning of the 17th century.

The watermill has been a listed building since 1982 and is one of the attractions in Moers Castle and Leisure Park.

After extensive renovation, the mill was opened to the public in spring 2011. One can register to have the mill and its function explained . You can also experience the path from grain to bread up close. The new traditional oven also plays an important role in this. The baking days and courses in the mill are now also very popular.
