Wickrath Castle is located in Mönchengladbach on the Lower Rhine and is surrounded by a beautiful park.

The palace complex includes a former stable master’s house from the 19th century and the east wing of the former outer bailey (18th century). The historic outer bailey is a wonderful example of baroque architecture. Today there is a horse center on the castle grounds and a restaurant is located in the historic stable master’s house. The magnificent avenue of lime trees and the large park at Wickrath Castle invite you to take long walks, or cycle along the Niers to the Rheydt or Myllendonk castles by bike. Neersen Castle is also just a few kilometers away.
