The Friedestrom Castle (Burg Friedestrom) is part of the historical fortifications in Zons am Rhein.

Friedestrom Castle, like large parts of the historic town center, was renovated. Today Zons is a cultural and historical figurehead in which numerous historical buildings and structures such as fortifications, city walls, towers and moats can be seen. Zons was responsible for collecting the Rhine toll until the 18th century. As a result, the city was worthy of protection and as a result, fortifications were built, some of which can still be visited today.
