The Diersfordt palace complex is located in the middle of the Lower Rhine natural landscape not far from the city of Wesel.
Built in the 15th century for protection, the castle experienced numerous destruction during its eventful history, as a result of which structural changes were repeatedly made. Today’s main building of the palace complex was built between 1929 and 1931 after a fire that completely destroyed the former castle and is now used as a residence and hotel.
The palace complex also includes a baroque palace church, in which romantic weddings can take place, as well as the so-called ice cellar, in which there is a local museum. Not to be forgotten are the numerous opportunities to celebrate at Diersfordt Castle. Whether weddings, communion and confirmation celebrations or birthday parties, the palace complex offers a stylish ambience for numerous events that makes every celebration an unforgettable event.
