The historic castle in Brüggen in the region of the Lower Rhine was first mentioned in a document in the 13th century.

The castle is well worth seeing and in the summer months the annual “Bruges Summer” with theater events takes place in the inner courtyard of the castle. Today the building of the former moated castle also houses the Museum of Man and Hunting.
