The Benrath Palace with its attached park is located in Düsseldorf-Benrath and is particularly worth seeing.

The former hunting lodge of Elector Carl Theodor was completed in 1773. After many years of construction, the main house was built in the French rococo style, guarded by two gatehouses and flanked by two other buildings, the so-called cavalier buildings. In the front area of the castle complex there is also the castle pond. The extensive castle park extends over more than 600,000 m².
