Numerous old buildings in the municipality of Brüggen, which also include the Bracht and Born districts, are used today in a different way than their builders had planned. Today the municipal administration is located in the former monastery. The water mill in Brüggen and the Bornermühle from the 12th century are used as a restaurant. The Brachter Mühle, on the other hand, serves as a local museum and has been extensively restored. For demonstration purposes, the grinder is now powered by a motor. The last historical sight to be mentioned here is the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.

In addition to its numerous historic buildings, the region offers many natural sites.
